Speaking at Frame by Frame: The Storytellers’ Meet, organised by the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) as a precursor to the three-day festival, Commissioner Secretary, Information, R Alice Vaz invited filmmakers, producers, directors, actors and other members of the film fraternity to participate in large numbers.

Vaz said the festival is envisioned as more than a platform for film screenings, with a focus on meaningful interaction, collaboration and cultural exchange. She described the inaugural edition as a landmark initiative for Jammu & Kashmir’s cultural and creative landscape.

Elaborate arrangements have been made for film screenings and associated activities, officials said.
