For anyone craving Korean food in Delhi without spending a fortune, Hanok Korean Kitchen in Majnu ka Tila is worth a visit. The restaurant provides comforting Korean flavours with an ambience that makes you feel like you have stepped into a cosy restaurant in Korea.

The restaurant offers both traditional Korean floor seating and comfortable sofas. One of the highlights is the collection of hanboks that customers can try, adding to the overall experience. Hanok makes a genuine effort to bring a little bit of Korea to Majnu ka Tila.

The menu has a variety of Korean dishes, including many that you may have spotted in K-dramas. I tried the Cheese Tteok Bokki and Veg Kimbap. The Veg Kimbap was simple and decent, and came with three side dishes that complemented the meal.

The Cheese Tteok Bokki, however, was the standout. The rice cakes were thick and chewy, covered in a rich and saucy mix of cheese, sweetness and spice. It had a strong flavour but was enjoyable.

Korean food has distinct flavours that may not immediately suit Indian taste buds, but for those willing to explore new flavours, it can be an interesting change from familiar Indian dishes.

The staff were polite, approachable and happy to help with any questions about the food.

Overall, Hanok Korean Kitchen offers a well-rounded Korean dining experience at a reasonable price. With its traditional touches, hanbok experience and relaxed setting, it offers a chance to enjoy Korean culture too. If you are exploring Majnu ka Tila and happen to be craving Korean comfort food, this is a place worth trying.
